There is a difference between resting our bodies on the couch in front of the newest Netflix series and resting our minds while releasing our attachments and aversions to the way we think life ought to be. The latter represents the deepest, most radical, form of rest. Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice that promotes deep rest and relaxation on more than just the physical level. The practice takes place in a supported Savasana (lying down on your back). As you rest, you will be encouraged to become aware of the different layers that make up who you are as a human being. In Yoga these layers are known as the Kosha-s. The 5 Kosha, or the 5 layers of being, that we work with in Yoga Nidra are the physical body, the energetic body, the emotional body, the mental body, and the bliss body. Yoga Nidra takes you on a meditative journey through these layers of yourself and gently guides you back to the bliss body. A place of deep presence and peace that exists within each one of us. The practice of Yoga Nidra helps us to find true relaxation by teaching us how to rest more than just our physical body. Even more exciting is the fact that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra can be the equivalent of taking a 2 hour nap! Yoga Nidra is especially beneficial for those who have struggled with other types of meditation, and for those who are looking to practice constructive rest in their daily lives. Cancellation Policy: No refunds and/or credits will be provided after October 1st. Refunds and/or credits can not be provided for no shows and classes you can not attend.

Please refer to each workshop, event, series and training in question, as cancellation policy differs for each one. Regular Scheduled In-Studio Classes can be cancelled up to 6-hours in advance. No refunds or credits will be provided for no-shows or cancellations less than 6 hours.
