Meditative Hatha Yoga

Service Description

This practice is designed to act as a moving meditation. The class will begin with an opening meditation (seated or reclined) and then move into a sequence of grounding postures followed by a short flow and gentle heart openers before settling into a final relaxation. Throughout the class we will use pranayama (breathwork) to inspire a more meditative practice. There will be many opportunities to pause and check in with ourselves physically, emotionally, and energetically. This practice is slower than a regular Hatha practice to provide us with the space and time needed to cultivate awareness and equanimity. Props and modifications will be provided to encourage you to find sustainable and nourishing postures. No prior yoga experience required!

Cancellation Policy

Please refer to each workshop, event, series and training in question, as cancellation policy differs for each one. Regular Scheduled In-Studio Classes can be cancelled up to 6-hours in advance. No refunds or credits will be provided for no-shows or cancellations less than 6 hours.
